Northeast Iowa | My cousin runs a plow for the DOT and called the other day to see if I could blow out his driveway, since he'd been at work since 4 AM and wasn't going to get home until after dark. He figured it would be plugged solid. I jokingly asked him if he'd get to overtime by Wednesday that week and he said he already hit it on Tuesday!
This one is a mile or so west of Cresco along Highway 9. My sister in Des Moines said the state troopers she works with told her Howard County had the worst conditions of any in their district most of the winter.
