SE SD | Careful with that cone hay feeder. I have one and lost a young cow in it. The bale tipped and she had her head up in between the pipes and strangled her. I was not happy. I still use it but never put a new bale in it till it is empty. It does save hay though. About the big calves- I had several 90-100 lb calves out of red Angus heifers this year! They are a little over a month old and they are huge! Glad to see the cow problem worked out for ya. | |
