Subject: RE: water line freezing

NC Indiana
We've watered with large garden hoses all winter, usually get them drained good enough they don't frees up. We have a post sticking out of an old hog self feeder and put the middle of the hose around it and run the ends down hill the best we can and start at the middle and run them over our shoulder 2-3 time and we're good. Biggest trouble is the ends will get ice in the treads, but I have a saw blade on my pocket knife the is good a breading that off. We keep a spare set in the basement, just in case.
