Nebraska aka the boondocks | How can a long term contract, "just come to the surface??" Someone signs a longterm contract, when they went in to do year end review in December, this was a known fact three months ago. The only explanation is that some operations are in such dire straits, they needed a $1 rally since December just to stay in business it didn't happen and now the fat lady is singing. I really don't think these scenerios have anything to do with the general marketplace. We just had a half section up the road come up for rent, crop share to cash. It was a "feeding frenzy," I thought about putting in a bid, but decided putting a $150,000 pivot project on someone else's property wasn't the best idea in today's environment, in addition to a healthy rent bid. |
