Subject: RE: Cow-calf question

I will take a different response than other posters. Depending on how much row crop you have 150 still take some work. I would look to maybe add part time labor on the crop side. If you are trucking grain from bins, that is something you could hire out and give you more time to check cows. Or some custom spraying in the spring hire the first pass applied. Without knowing your farm its hard to get specific. It seems to me its harder to find help with livestock than just running equipment, and with cows worth what they are you might be better off hiring something done on the crop side. Do you have any kids that would be able to help, afterschool or weekends? Just some thoughts.
