Baldwin City, KS | Have to remember opportunity cost. It's not free if you could have sold it for X price, as opposed to putting it through a cow. If I have silage, or feed my corn, I always figure what the grain would have sold for and figure it like an expense. Silage cost even more than grain, since it is near total removal, assuming the manure isn't spread where you chopped. Just something you want to consider. | |
