I usually do buy USA feeder cattle. But, the way the market is right now, these cattle from north of the border are considerably cheaper. That is, if there is a pot load of them. If not a full load, then it is a $20000 gamble, that I don't think I am ready for. Also, these cattle are already branded, and they have already landed in the states. They are just looking for their new home for the next 5 months. | |
