Brother called me this afternoon.  His job took him past a couple big corn fields along the road not harvested, 80 or so on one side and 40 or so on the other.  He wasn't sure exactly where other than they went west of Springfield a ways and then he thought they went north. Obviously he wasn't driving.

I think he said they were going to either Petersburg or Pittsfield.  I know, not that close together.

Anyway, anybody know about a couple fields of corn west of Springfield still standing? We speculated on why but had no good explanation.
