What you really, really need is some historical basis level charting for your area.  If you don't have that data, somebody does, and you need to find that somebody to get your hands on it.  That knowledge can make you a lot of money, but just hearing that the basis is hot in southeast Iowa or it really sucks in western Minnesota doesn't do much good for you in Nebraska.
