East Central, NE | Keep up the good work Maizeing. You have helped me tremendously understand basis and divide it out from futures. I'm still slow and pulling the trigger on basis type contracts because I'm still too focused on futures price.
Just like today, I was hoping for few more pennies in futures price and then wham; lost .12 to the basis. It would appear that anytime the futures gain .10-.15 cents the basis will probably drop a similar amount. | |
