onida, south dakota | i think MPLS March inverting is because of freight...........when you have a stocks to usage ratio near 40%............why would the market need to invert???? ................it is due to a super strong spot floor basis because freight isn't moving............the spread could go really wild into a big inverse but if freight breaks you could also see it out to 5 cent carry in a hurry..............if you have had spring wheat one should be and should have been locking in the basis over the past month...........but there again it was all due to freight............and not very deep...........locally we did trade some basis for 15 pro spring at 1.00 over and even a little higher in the last few weeks........... | |
