I know I will get flamed, but I would charge him trucking cost. If he disagree's then just reiterate that the cows needed to be out of there BEFORE monday morning. I think most of us can agree when dealing with livestock its difficult enough to work around another persons schedule, then throw in the mix of one more. The cows were in the pen WAITING to be picked up...gosh not even in the feedlot waiting to be rounded up, you did all that work for HIS cattle, and willing to help him load them up for probabley nothing more then a thank you. To me, if they are willing to put a burdon on you in the name of the LORD, they can handle the burdon of a trucking bill in the name of the LORD.
