Holly Grove Arkansas | Would appear this bill is far more lucrative for corn farmer than the previous bill. I've ran calculation on rice and soybeans. There would have been no payments for either, if I'm calculating correctly, if the bill would have been in effect in 2013. If the price of rice were to fall to par with corn the payments would be bigger than the previous bill. Using the same assumption as the previous corn example beans would near $9 to start picking up a payment. | |
