Southeast Colorado
I believe Crete is correct on this one. Feedlots here shrink 1.2% on the high moisture corn and only down to 15.5%. Using Garvo's numbers= 15x1.35=20.25% 76lbsx20.25%=15.39lbs 76lbs-15.39lbs=60.61lbs. Garvo is still wanting to buy 60.61 lbs. for the price of a bushel. Not a bad deal for him if he can swing it!
