| I think for the majority of the corn belt drying corn has been an afterthought and usually never entered into the budget. Going forward we will be competing with the export market especially to build inventories as well as for immediate consumption. It will take a stronger than normal futures price to build the inventories we need to avert another winter of 2014. That of course translates into higher contract pricing. The wildcard in all of this is the weather, both for crop maturity and winter heating next season. | |
