Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | There has been a good deal of discussion about the lack of rail capacity to move grain to the PNW. It is certainly a problem but what no one has mentioned (I think) is if the railroads take the opportunity to repair and expand their systems eventually grain producers might have a first class rail system with which to move grain paid for by oil. It might be worth the temporary inconvenience in the long run. After all it's not likely that we will ever move grain by pipeline. |
