| Sat I don't think we had 4-5M prevented plant acres. FSA says 3.6. You can say that some don't report and take that up to 4. But remember guys planted corn on whatever ground they could and saved the beans for the wet spots. Claimed the ground as corn PP to get the higher revenue amount. I am sure the majority of intended corn acres got planted.
I still think the worst thing to happen to ethanol is cheap corn. We will be back in the penalty box if we get a production hiccup or cut acres too much here and globally. We act like less than a billion more bushels of carryover from a massive drought is the worst thing that can happen. | |
