| The damage will need to be seen on tv this time before they go long corn. I'm not sure a dry winter and spring could possibly be corns friend at this time. Farmers love to plant corn and we typically plant more corn in a nice warm dry spring. With the weather we are seeing out west combined with SA and Aust at the moment I'd say there's a good chance we get hot and dry. If farmers realize over production cost them profits and apply less nitrogen and stop buying 300 a bag seed corn we may have fighting chance. If we have a dry spring and plant 95 million ac of corn with a normal growing season we will be begging for 350 corn in 12 months. | |
