| it was an awkward opine to say the least on his part, no doubt his feelings towards the troops was patriotic!
but by co-mingling his patriotism along with his bitterness towards farmers holding grain for higher prices was weird? notice how measured his tone was, obviously he had rehearsed this speech quite a bit to have it down so well as he did....as his cadence & rhythm were put forth effortlessly. | |
