Corn acres in the Mid South will be down 40% going to beans and rice. The Mid South is also almost out of physical corn, harvested in July and Aug it all shipped to fill in the tight ending stocks (that clearly were smaller than USDA thought). Western corn belt demand will be pulling heavy from the East all year.
