Nebraska aka the boondocks | I think this crash talk is all hypothetical hoo ha, but IF corn went to 2.5 to 2.75 or whatever, all chaos would break loose. Contracts would be tossed out like toiletpaper and the lawyers would be swamped with breach of contracts and bankruptcies. People's "word" wouldn't mean squat. If the jedi wanna be's in Chicago want to make an example of us idiot farmers, then they should go ahead and see what happens. Like NIKE says, "do it." or was that Godfathers pizza... The smarter guys would just sit pretty on their cash piles and watch the carnage ensue. As a teacher of mine used to tell me, what goes around comes around. Of course the USDAn and congress would sit idley by because they have no agenda. |
