| Unless the house GOP changes their stance on food stamps the farm bill really does not matter anyway because the president won't sign it. Now they want to tie unemployment extension to the next piece of any bill that comes to the floor. The farm bill has been headed for a 2 year extension and it's just a matter of time before they extend the farm bill and unemployment benefits at the same time. I'm not sure we ever stood a chance with 8 or 3 dollar corn. It's not really about the farm bill it's about politics. | |
