By its very nature....the moment it is collected or published it is dated.

Everyone is quick to pounce here....but as has been pointed out many times, the methodology is sound, time tested, statistically accurate.
If you don't like how the market works now, how do you think it would work without any unbiased information.
I have worked with the enumerators. They go out and make accurate counts. The areas are flagged so they go back to the same spot time and again when doing the field checks

It also takes time to collect the data. Not everyone returns the data using a computer.
I don't buy into conspiracy theories, so I don't go there, but I do believe we get the very best of the information that is available when it is released.
Sometimes it agrees with my biases, sometimes it doesn't.
