I was listening to a recording of an outlook meeting held in Sikeston MO on WILL radio website. In it one of the panelists-John Bondurant-stated that he was very bearish ag going forward (he was in fact selling farm ground and buying non ag real estate). One of the reasons he gave was that China's population has peaked (due to the one child policy) and was forecast to decline drastically in the coming decades. Now we have been hearing about how the worlds population is increasing and we will run out of food. Soooo where are all of the people coming from and will they be able to afford to buy our production?? Thanks for any thoughts.
