| Best idea I can give is there is NO fast forward like on TV. Takes a long time to get it right.
DO watch to stay straight AND level,,,clean out excess thin set while it is wet...old toothbrush or similar is good.
DO use thinset and NOT mastic. ALWAYS butter the back of your tile. They dont on tv but they tile over drywall which is big no no
Use as small of spacers as you can,makes for less grout and better job,,,who likes looking at grout,,its the tile you want to see.
Also second not so big of tile,,,check level and square before starting. Spend days laying it all out first to make it look like a pro laid it.Use AT LEAST a 4 ' level if not longer
when someone asks what is taking so long ask them to start counting tiles ,,,its a HUGE job | |
