Gold, on the other hand, has been confiscated. You could bury yours to avoid confiscation, and your neighbor or family member could turn you in for a reward. Even if you possessed buried gold, it would be illegal to spend it.
There is no absolutely safe store of wealth. Perhaps the safest is to spread wealth into several safe countries (Uruguay, Switzerland, northern Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) | |
