Insurance on them won't be cheap.
Depending on your situation if you live by yourself in the country or what not, they have a tendency to sprout legs and walk away.
Could get a monster safe but that costs some coin.
If you've got very little debt and really like the guns as a hobby go for it.
But if you don't you would be better off paying ahead and staying liquid.
Anybody use guns as a store of wealth?
