Personally I would find something like a Garmin 17N for a couple hundred bucks and use that instead.
Even though someone else is going to process your maps, and this is a ways down the road for you, but, I would strongly encourage you to download the free FODM Viewer (www.mapshots.com) and the USDA-ARS Yield Editor software and play with your data a bit. These two pieces of software will let you clean up your data and print maps.
