I agree this is not ideal but that color screen and coverage image on the 500 makes it very easy to drive within 12" of accuracy. I would not go back to the + after switching to the 500. I too do not have the EZ boom either mostly because I only have two zones on a 100' sprayer and it works for me for now. The next sprayer will get the EZ boom though. So you're saying this problem has not been fixed on the 500 but it is easier to deal with because of the larger screen and coverage image? I'm pretty much shocked that no one has found a true fix for this with the EZ-Guide+ and especially the EZ-Guide 500. I am also shocked that Trimble hasn't come up with a firmware update that takes care of it. In my opinion that seriously limits the functionality of these units. |
