East Central Ia
What the heck is Jobs thinking?

I was about to order my Mom a new 24'' iMac but now that I learned there are no user serviceable parts except RAM, I am rethinking this. Why would I want to pay someone to work on a computer when I am perfectly capable of doing it myself. This is a HUGE step backwards for the new generation of iMacs.

Am I informed correctly that you need a special tool to remove the screen to access the guts of these new machines? Why would you change that from the old G5's that could be easily opened from the back?
