| That's lame - it's always someone else's fault. Everyone with a product to distribute faces the same issues and there are ways to get it done that don't involve gov't. I'm saying ethanol has to step up to the table and compete for market share instead of declaring tidy profits and whining for a 15% mandate. I recognize this is an oversimplification and there are lots of moving parts to this market, but it's certainly the way things appear and that does nothing for marketing a product. We have F/S (growmark) stations all over the place and that's where I see E85 more or less sold for 'don't buy this' prices. If anyone should be priming the pump to get customers into E85, I would think F/S would - but no. That's a problem that the industry needs to work on.
I certainly like ethanol, but lets not use the NPR business model to sell it. | |
