Gotty the Int'l Grain Council can forecast what ever they want for China, but right now China has a cap of 7.2 mmt so unless China raises this cap (that would be big news) exports are capped at 7.2. Yes they can import more but they will have a pay a import tariff and the only way that is gonna happen is if corn price is very cheap. If China needs so much corn,,,why do they even HAVE A CAP ? ? ?

This import tariff on corn,,,is why China bought our soft wheat and milo

You have posted 2014 will be the year of demand,,,IF,,,favorable weather keeps up,my guess is 2014 will be the year of SA huge soybean production............ If one plans on holding beans into next summer you better be paying close attention to the weather in SA...............

Anyone, pull up a weekly REAL chart, and compare its price to 2011ish against the dollar,,,its the REAL DEAL GUYS..... As the SA producer was making crop plans their new crop ZSH14 rallied $2.03 WELL OVER TWICE THAT IN REALS........... What would you on your own farm do if ZSX14 rallied 2 bucks this coming March ? ? ?

ZSH14 has rallied and closed @ 13.06 the highest close price since 9.19.13 Is this China making the last swing of the planting carrot in front of the SA producers to get those last extra acres of beans planted ? ? ? Look at what the price of beans did this spring,April til early July ! ! ! ! ! Did you PP that planned corn and beans or did you bite the planting carrot ? ? ?
