I would not consider this year a worse than normal year. Yes planting was rough but, July 2013 was abnormally cool. These temperatures play a much bigger role in corn production. If we can count on a abnormally cool summer, then yes we can definately grow a much bigger crop. However, then equal weight should be given to the probability of an abnormally hot summer also.
