Each vacuum motor consumes 4gpm of fluid flow. on a 16/31 you still only have two motors so you are in good shape. I however would use the 48 because the charge pump system on a 20 series with the syncro range just plain suck's! Please do not use a pto pump, that is just another thing to go wrong. Depending on size, 12/23 or 16/31 get the draw bar support kit and be sure to get the ware strips also. Make sure the vac motors have the bypass tubes ( for those who forget to shut off a hyd motor by putting lever into float) on them and the seal drain line gets plumed into the plug on the back of the tractor below the rt scv. They are good planters, the 16/31 had some undercarage problems but if anything smaller you will be ok. Jon
