Sounds like he still drives a 99' Lexus and has chip on his shoulder from the last dot-com bubble burst. I'm not saying he is wrong in all he is saying but he sure paints the farmers in a picture like they are living like "playboys". Where was this guy rooting for the farmer when he still used aged equipment about 10-years ago selling corn and soybeans below cost of production? How much did you depend on the Direct Payment then and play the LDP game.


good point also, now I remember struggling most my farming career, barley breaking even, people telling me to quit, find some other uses for your product they said. so now there whining we make too much!lol

for the record I don't think most farmers fit in to his description, just a few I was thinking of when I made the comment.
