east central iowa | from what chip florey from pro farmer was saying last summer they expect s.a. to not raise as much corn and switch those acres to beans, sounds believable to me, they have bad transportation, and a lot of places down there aren't set up to dry corn. if I had bad roads I would rather raise beans, a lot less volume to haul on those roads, in the end just like up here it depends on what their pencil shows them, but I would think that there will be a lot more beans down there. | |
