Buxton ND | Which is Baltic Dry Ocean Shipping rates. Jon will love this one ! ! ! ! !
In the last year anytime I posted about this,,,it was bearish......
NOW,not to say that this is really that bullish, but it is a good sign for Jon on his exports.

Look at the first 4 charts.
# 1 is long long term, rates still very cheap,,,also shows the crash of 29,oophs 2008
# 3 Shows how rates have just started to spike,,,S and D's works here better then in grains IMO,more bushels, same amount of ships as 6-12 months ago = a higher shipping rates. Basically doubling in 2-3 months.
This is a way to look at exports WITHOUT the USDA reports..............This is kinda what I mean by thinking "out of the box" and NOT looking down that PCV pipe at a cob of #2 yellow corn in NC Iowa which may or may not have been planted and by the sounds of it,,,even the late, late stuff has "made it"
NOWWWWW Jon's grinning from ear to ear..................................
Something to ease the auger pain ! ! ! ! !
Then shaking his head,,,,,Sat's backing me on exports HUH ?...........
This is not a huge deal but is at least a positive sign,at least for now,as this may be more beans, being shipped then corn and beans can fetch a higher shipping rate.
More grin for Jon,,,,,Asia bought some more beans just yesterday.................But we need to remember SA IS planting, think "out of the box"
