I shouldn't think you would need shift track with rtk. If you do use it with a GS1 console it will be permanently moved, so it is handy to turn off shift trac to avoid accidental bumps etc. If you use a GS2 you can use shift and then revert back to the original AB lines in the latest software apparently.
