West Central Ill.
If a farmer didnt complain he wouldnt be a farmer, it's just what most of us do from time to time. Inputs, weather, prices, neighbors with nicer machinery, bet they dont have a dime saved up cause they spend it all on new equipment the list goes on. Any one can farm with 7 dollar corn its when it goes back to 3 or less that some of us will get weeded out again like the early 80"s. Most years we save a little some years we eek by and every 1 or 2 years out of 10 we hit a home run. We adapt to this and keep going cause we have no choice if we want to be a farmer. Now my complaint, if the takers in society right now had their handout on a scale that fluctuated like grain prices politics in Washington would be a little different. We might get listened to a little more than we do!
