Nebraska aka the boondocks | I agree, because I don't farm "all" the farmland on any of my farms. there is "farmland" and then there is the "farmed" land. I had this argument with the insurance auditor a few years back. I don't count the turn rows as part of my operation. If I have an 80 with 2 acres of turn rows and roads, why would I count it? they do, and thus the averages are lower. I added it up all one time and it was over 30 acres worth. |
