Thumb of Michigan | I couldn't see the pictures- but had the same issues over the years. Its either the wedges are worn, or the spacers are bending. Or both. Its not very expensive to replace both the wedges as well as the spacers. And I'd replace the nuts while you're at it. Two or three threads outside of the nuts is enough.
Fact is, on a couple of trucks we used often, we replaced the spacers, the wedges, as well as the studs when we put new rubber on. If the take off stuff was OK, we had other trucks that didn't get used a lot that we could use the good used parts on if needed. | |
