I compeletely agree they aren't the most profitable thing the last 5-10 years but there will come the time they will be, having cows has allowed our operation to get through some tough times we might not otherwise have. Also, it greatly depends on area I think that's why you can get a lot of heated responses, but hell I'm probably the dumb one for taking care of cows everyday of the year lol.
