A kid today has no chance unless they have a degree, I think trade schools are a little different because most of those teachers usally work in the real world also. I am not saying that all the professors push there politicals agenda but quite a few do. I would love to be able to farm for a full time living but there are very few who do that were not born into it. I have friends that farm 1000 plus acres and they even have side jobs.
