Ed do you have a chart or something like that that I can use like the hydraulic charts that include losses for each valve in a circuit etc.?

I want to use a 24 hp Honda to run a generator, then to a variable speed control, then to the motor. Nothing has to be down to the rpm etc. It is not rocket science what I am doing. I have the engine, but no components behind it so I have a mostly clean slate to start with. Engine needs to run at peak performance, but driven motor needs a small amount of variable speed. However,..........the motor needs to run "up to" 4,500 rpm. Variable between about 3,000 and 4,500rpm. Doable?
