Eastern South Dakota | And because we are in the business of producing grain to sell and will soon be making plans to try and grow even more next year. That is bearish to the market. Manufacturing companies don't hold back their production that they have made while continuing to produce more thinking the more inventory I have on hand the higher the price will go...even if at the same time nobody else is making the particular product I guarantee somebody else soon will and sell for less. The bean rally happened for a good fundamental reason and yet after a $2.00 plus rally it couldn't even flush out the stops above the contract high by a quarter of a cent and all the technical reason it sold. The market can and will do anything and we don't know what it will do. We have our thoughts and place our bets. It may go a dollar higher and if that's your bet and it does your a winner (maybe, if you sell then) but you are the player at the table and not the casino. They don't take that risk and instead they put themselves in positions that don't loose if wrong and still win when right. This rally was a gift and should be rewarded with some kind of sale or market position and ring the cash register and if it goes higher try and ring it again! But if lt moves lowere your not the looser! | |
