| Still worth repeating...SA turns into Soy Capitol...NA corn.
Think of how many corn on corn acres you see...more next year not less. This soy crop (U.S.) tells the tale, ja.

The harvest of corn in Mato Grosso is practically closed. Until Friday (24), the crop totaled 98.4% of 3.01 million hectares planted in crop 12/13. The numbers of the Mato-grossense Agricultural Economy (Investigation) show a slight delay in the work of this crop in comparison with the previous season, when in this same period the harvest was over. In relation to the partial productivity, the State recorded an average of 102 bags per hectare. However, the middle region-Mato Grosso North recorded average of 106 bags/ha. The Northwest and Northwest presented the lowest rates, with 90 bags/ha.
Among the cities with greater involvement in areas planted, the highlight goes to the municipality of Smile, located north of the State, with 509.3 thousand hectares of corn. Shortly thereafter comes the municipality of Lucas do Rio Verde, with 187.5 thousand hectares planted. The Investigation provides that this harvest is produced more than 18.7 million tons of corn only at this second stage.
Price – With overproduction, prices are not encouraging for farmers. The last quotation of the Investigation shows that the average sack practiced in the State reached r $ 11/sc, value below the minimum price of $ 13.02/SC. In Smile, for example, the cost per sack came to be quoted at R $ 9.40 last week.
