Talking to multiple lenders over last 6 months and I don't know where the paying with cash idea comes from. From what I've been told its guys borrowing against other land or making the minimum down payment. If land is selling for $12,500 that is $2 million for a quarter. How much money do you need to make pretax to pay cash on that kind of price?
