about 10 %-loss that you cant see I wonder if a guy could cover with lime-2 benfits then-I guess the easiest wat to see your loss is to take a 10 ton load times silage price(10x$50 ton)and throw that load away every 100 ton so that would be $5000 loss on a 1000 ton pile of silage-probably cost $2000 to cover the pile -but no one wants to help cover the pit when we are done,your not dumb or lazy its just not on the top 10 list of things to do-but if someone threw a $1000 bill at you today would you work 4 hours to get it?
