if your truck trailer combination is under 26 tons don't need to file a 2290 form.don't have to do inspections anymore,...but the dot officers will still do inspections,so i will still have my stuff inspected by a third party,cheaper than a tow truck.can get by with a chauffers license,if you already have one,if you don't then you just as well get a class A and be done with it.no paper work,other than truck/trailer insurance.
