SW Iowa
Yearly IRS 2290 form needs to be completed and mailed in August
-yearly safety insp of tractor and trailer, and still doesn't guarantee a roadside DOT inspection, but will save you one ticket.
-You need a farm special driver's license, class 'D' I believe they call it. I just got a CDL and was done with it all.
- You are limited on hauling your own grain within a 100 mi radius. If they catch you outside that, or hauling a load for hire, it can be bad;
